Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. Her debut singles came out in 2007 and an album called Satisfied. The year 2013 saw her debuted her second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager for the village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years experience in the public sector, including almost five years as the the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. As the Assistant Village Manager her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department and completing projects. Ashley is involved in the day-to-day running of Riverside's services, as well as in the implementation of elected officials' and community visions. Ashley's prior roles have included the budgeting and planning of government communications, personnel management as well as collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate regarding climate action.
