Anna Louise Friel (born in London) is an English actress from London. Her first role was her role as Beth Jordache as Beth Jordache of the British soap Opera Brookside. She gained international recognition as she played Charlotte Chuck Charles at ABC's Pushing Daisies. For this part, she was awarded a Golden Globe Nomination. Anna was born in Rochdale and is the daughter of Julie an instructor for special needs and Des Friel a former teacher of French as well as the proprietor of a web design company.
